Started reading The Communist Manifesto. Finished Ch. 1.
And honestly, it made me think AI is not going to kill capitalism. It might make capitalism reach its peak.
In the industrial age, the upper class owned factories, machines, land, and supply chains. In the AI age, the upper class will own models, compute, data, chips, infra, APIs, agents, and distribution.
Everyone else will just use tools, produce more output, but once everyone has access to similar tools.
A dev with AI.
A designer with AI.
A marketer with AI.
A writer with AI.
The market will price that output lower very fast. That’s the part people miss.
Labor gets faster. Capital gets more leverage.
AI may democratize access, but it may also centralize power.
That’s the scary/fascinating part.
