On June 17, AV-Comparatives released its 2026 Mobile Security Review. Tencent Cloud achieved a 99.8% malware detection rate—among the highest in the test—and earned the Approved Mobile Product certification. The Tencent Cloud Risk Solutions (TCRS) SDK was the core detection engine behind this result. AV-C used only fresh, de-duplicated malware samples from the four weeks prior to the test, which is very challenging to achieve high detection rate while maintaining low false positives. Here is a clear comparison: Browser Version advantages: - Full Agent Mode and Canvas support - Better project folders / workspaces for organizing chats and images - More reference images possible in Grok Imagine - Easier bulk export of images and prompts - Better image history and project management - More advanced settings and experimental features - Generally smoother for complex creative workflows Android App advantages: - Deep integration with Samsung Knox hardware encryption - Stronger device-level security and biometrics protection - No browser cookies, cache, or tracking risks - Better suited for pure mobile, wired-only, high-security workflow - Faster and more stable on Samsung hardware Current reality: The Android App still lacks important features that the browser already has. This forces security-conscious users like me into the browser, which I hate for safety reasons. I want to stay 100% in the Android App on my S26 Ultra and future Tab.
