If we proxy statins (HMGCR) and other LDL-lowering drugs/mechanisms (ezetimibe, PCSK9 inhibitors, bempedoic acid, APOB, ANGPTL3, MTTP, and CETP inhibitors, the LDLR pathway), we can get at this.
There's no significant or meaningful risk bump from 1 mmol/L lower LDL-C.

They're blaming statins for the rise in autism. It's like these researchers want people to get killed even though
- There's no link in MR (i.e., there's no causal link at all)
- The rise of statins has not come with a real increase in autism
