Part 1 of pushing
@NousResearch's Hermes agent to it's limits (First 72 hours)
What we built:
1. HALS (Hermes Autonomous Learning System) — 4-instance parallel daemon that scans, processes, synthesizes academic papers every night to sync to a persistent memory obsidian vault.
2. Error logger: learns from mistakes, logs it and uses it to self improve
3. Trading Intelligence Stack: regime detectors, whale trackers, DeFi monitors, skills to monitor market states better
4. Full search pipeline to rebuild firecrawl since im broke
5. Council Reasoning System: 5-agent debate (Hermes, Harper, Benjamin, Lucas, Mirelle) all for different purposes (inspo grok)
6. Mathematical Finance Suite: 13 math skills (info geometry, optimal transport, rough vol, etc.) all with auto Lean verification before output built through paper synthesis.
7. Morning Brief System: 8 sections × 8,000 words, 65,000 total. Covers everything I should know when I wake up, emails, meetings, news etc
8. Self expanding Skill Ecosystem: 80 skills across research, trading, quant, math, infra
9. Daemon Infrastructure: watchdogs, health checks, cron automation for tasks
10. Obsidian Vault Sync: bidirectional, GitHub-backed second brain
11. Hermes Dojo: self-improvement and mistake-tracking system, adapted from a github and then improved
12. Research Logic Loop: 6-stage referential loop counterevidence injection
13. Web Fetch Stack: Tavily SmartFetcher MultiSearch pipeline
14. SWARMA Bridge: experiment loop for AI agent teams based off Kaparthys auto research
15. Auto due diligence system: Runs OSINT on everyone who schedules a meeting based on publicly available info.
Which one of these should I ship to a real product, let me know.
