Ha, they were pretty low-tech, as you'd expect. Lots of text, not much graphics. I'd gotten my first computer in 1996 & was surfing the web with a 28.8 dial-up modem (using the Netscape browser).
I spent way too much time waiting for web pages to load.

Exactly! I've tried to get better as I've gotten older about understanding that this is journey that the artist on and I need to be open to wherever it goes (particularly so with artists I love)...even if it's not what I expected to hear or how I expected to hear it.

I was on some S-K message boards when Dig Me Out came out, & holy hell, the ruckus that arose. "They've sold out! Gone commercial! Abandoned their punk roots!" etc.
Some people want a band to make every album the same as their previous one, & never grow or change as artists.

Seriously! It's funny -- I didn't like The Woods when it came out, it grew one me over time, and many of my fave moments from the show last night were from it. Like "Jumpers," oh my god
