The side effects were broken offaxis interactions, broken vertical interactions & broken combos offaxis. The fixes were buffed tracking (even though ss was supposed to be T8 strength), nerfed jumps or invisible barriers (fe. under lars uf 3 4), and combo axis auto correction.

The core issue is simple, the did not only nerfed backdash, but to ENSURE player interaction they introduced obscene levels of forward momentum and range in buttons, leading to broken interactions like this offaxis, because of missalignment issues.

Great decision to revert the throw chip, now I really need them to lose the offaxis combo change, we need to promote having an advantage by correctly identifying situations and solving them with knowledge of your own char and their combo related options!

they changed some moves in this games where offaxis lateframe would lead to ch launchers, I remember king had that in 7 on ffn2 and it was fixed/changed in 8. I personally have never seen this on bryan f3 and got plenty of times ch offaxis via f3. Have you a clip of this in 7?
