I gave coins as offertory when I was 4 I think that was 2005

Seats are free. Entrance is free. Exit is free. You get in and out any time you want. Giving offertory is optional Just free things and free blessings. Which reason do you give for not going to church??

Why is it that when people get fresh money notes they say they’ll use it as offertory in church?

SSPX are too soft on the Novus Ordo Prot Service ... it's an abomination. Have a look at the Offertory, would you? They replaced the Catholic offering of the Spotless Victim in reparation for our sins with ... offering bread and wine, the fruit of the earth and the work of human hands, as if bread and wine can expiate for sin. In addition, hmmm, "earth", "work" ... that reminds me. What did God tell Adam as part of his punishment for sin? Yes, that's right ... "the earth is cursed in your work". So our work in the earth, which is cursed by God in punishment for sin ... THAT is what we offer to God, rather than the Spotless Victim? But there's something else. Hmmm. Oh, yeah, what did Cain offer to God? That's right ... "fruits of the earth". God rejected his sacrifice. Abel, what did he offer? That's right, a blood sacrifice, which is what the Latin "Hostia" mean, the word in the CATHOLIC Offertory that is translated "Victim". So Abel offered the Victim (just like the Tridentine Mass) and Cain offered the fruits of the earth (just like the Novus Ordo "Mass"). There's a reason Our Lord told Julie Marie Jahenny that they were preparing a New Mass that is odious in His sight and contains words from the abyss. What was the part of the Catholic Mass that caused Luther to foam at the mouth and begin blaspheming uncontrollably? Oh, yeah ... that's right, the Offertory. Why? Well, the Canon or Eucharistic Prayer, can have an equivocal meaning. Why is the priest saying those words? Is he simply re-enacting it for our edifiction, i.e. simply repeating the "institution narrative"? Or is he actually offering the Holy Sacrifice? It's the Offertory that disambiguates the entire Mass, explains what it is.

This morning, before we counted the offertory for our church, we prayed to Our Lady to bring our petitions to the foot of the Cross, to her Son. "Pray for one another."
