right.
I didn't play oot on 64.
I wanna say there was a bundle of OOT on gamecube.. "lost woods" version or something. that I loaned out and didn't care about... I was in the navy at the time. didn't have time to play it.. so I didn't play it. didn't even actually play... was it windwaker.. that it came with.
like... back then you just got whole "ports" of old games with the newest game... unless, can we say with hindsight. the gamecube really had to try hard to sell game back then? I dont know.
and I didn't play oot on 3ds. I dont know if it was offered on wii, U, or switch 1...
I might pick it up on... I'm pretty sure I will pick it up on sw2...
as much as I dislike "in game timers" in terms of... okay you had too much in game time, the world resets...
I mean is it zelda "rogue lite" in terms of resetting... I dunno.
I just know there is a mechanic to reset the clock.
dead rising had that... I blindly (saw the trailer)... bought it back in the 360 days... and what you mean I just can't endlessly kill zombies in the mall?
Like I wanted "gta" in the mall with zombies... and instead I got this story and timer and things would interrupt me in a cut scene... what you mean my golfclub breaks ( I actually dont remember)...
same shit with god of war.. i'm walking forward... ahh fuck, I just can't sprint now?
at least in Crimson Desert, I can chose not to interact with an npc. like the pacing of the game for the most part, is up to me.
There are a few cutscenes that play if you step to close to a "quest objective area". I haven't learned the encoding/coordination of which ones require an entering of scene via button press, and which ones aauto play...
but its still... the same old you interrupted me in what I was doing. bullshit.
I get that original metroid on nes had a timer, that dictated what ending "cut scene" you got.. thats fine.
I just dont like the global urgency sense of things.
good that it "resets" and isn't a "just load your last save" or having to manage the clock of saves...
ya know if I save at t-10seconds, well the thing is gonna end in 10 seconds every reload ya know...
I dont like that crap... sooo it is what it is... I'll give it my offtime at work and see what the big fuss is about... if I have time... zelda might just sit on a shelf and never get played.... I mean a sale is a sale...
it bumped me wanting to purchase starfox... like between a panzer dragoon game or starfox... I dont think I wanna play. even if it had total free roaming...
I dunno. do I want more weapons like terminal Reality(had to look it up)/ 3d realms "terminal velocity" or "epic mega game's firefight"... yes I know it was a top down shooter... but I'm just saying, free roaming starfox...
Yes I'm bringing up old games, but I'm trying to think of the last free roaming "flying" game I really played...
sans my lil playing of no mans sky...
are some people saying "I'd rather play no mans sky" than starfox?
are newer audiences saying..."no.. i'm space shootered out" I just remember shooting at something, in no mans sky. I dont remember if I had to reload my save, or if I jumped out of there.
sure I do.. but I dont.. but I do.. but I dont wanna "play" it...
Idont wanna drop crimson sky for it.. crimson desert i mean
I mean.. I got free roaming mario kart world... but haven't booted that in forever... so I dont know.
I have alot of games to play... purchased already.
sooo.... i just need to tell myself...
"its okay"... I dont need to buy, even 1 of something from every showcase... its okay to say no to starfox.
why do I feel guilty.. I dont feel guilty about never having play a fire emblem game...(I wanna say on a snes rom pack, if that was a thing back in my youth)...
it'll be okay... I'm not even a nintendo guy...
its okay for me, and i'm literally just talking to myself...(as always)... to say, I'm touching grass... wish I was grabbing ass lol. reading books. working. watching wrestling. and seeing movies still. its okay to not be able to do everything gaming.
