India never got fooled by QUAD.
India was blocking anti-China stance in QUAD in terms of sophisticated military & complete anti China moves at various fields. India activated it as part of deterrence rather than alliance.
Good thread. India got fooled by Quad type theatrics. US has always been erratic and trigger happy when it comes to FP. Rem pivot to Asia under Obama? On top, Modi and SJ got totally taken for a ride by Trump and MAGA. They misread Trump based on 2017-20.

Deeply shocking to read this official US statement, which contains absolutely no expression of regret or condolence for the loss of innocent Indian lives. How can a “friend” and strategic partner be so deeply insensitive?
Why couldn’t a non-compliant commercial vessel have been stopped using other, non-lethal means? Is it not possible to disable a ship's propulsion or steering without firing missiles targeted to kill civilian crew members?
Practically every merchant ship navigating these crucial waters has Indian crew on board. Are they all considered fair game for US missiles now?
This approach is unacceptable and I hope @DrSJaishankar had said so to @marcorubio.

What happens when Heliot Ramos returns from his quad injury?
The two options as I see it:
1) Jung Hoo Lee moves back to CF, Schmitt to RF, Ramos steps back in to LF (keeping DH for Eldridge/Devers)
2) A trade of someone like Luis Arraez to create an infield opening for Schmitt
Heliot Ramos could start a rehab assignment as soon as next week, he’s slightly ahead of schedule and feeling good. Matt Gage is rehabbing today and Tyler Mahle tomorrow. Doesn’t sound like Harrison Bader is close.
