While making my Captain Clark model I went back to religiously rewatching movie clips over and over for reference, and that's when I noticed that Clark has a big shoe on his butt, it completely slipped my sight. Alas I couldn't just forget it, welcome home buddy ❤️

This scene had me thinking about the realities of being married to a mama’s boy. I’m rewatching #WhenLifeGivesYouTangerines and this part where Ae-sun stood up to her grand mother in-law and mother in-law about her daughter not becoming a haenyeo. Then Gwan-sik supported her and finally took her out of that situation… I think maybe because It reminded me of how common this reality is. Parents and in-laws deciding what a child should be, what path they should take and expecting everyone else to just follow suit.🤦‍♀️ With a mama’s boy, he would have struggled to go against his family for them. Geum-myeong would have probably ended up a haenyeo, and that would have been the greatest undoing of her life. Which is exactly why I kept wondering, what if Gwan-sik had been a mama’s boy?
