Some more NPCs show up in the wake of the cutscene, would be fun to see the druid characters properly interact with the Haranir and the Rootways while they're here

These "Aln'haran Tears" in the Rift of Aln are fascinating, I can't tell if they're supposed to be portals to the Dream or just manifestations of the Rootways.

Azeroth "and beyond" has very interesting implications, what other realms or planets do the Rootways lead to?

“Although the ancient guardians of the rootways were highlighted in Blizzard's recent Midnight Early Access schedule.. Haranir will not be available during Early Access, with the intent to avoid giving early access players notable advantages.” But everything else in EA is fine?
Many players are excited about the Haranir, however players may have to wait just a little bit longer to play them, as developer comments suggest that the new allied race will not be available during Early Access. #warcraft #midnight wowhead.com/news/haranir-wil…

Oh so it literally is just a random human who fell through the Rootways lmao Makes you wonder if that's happened before, but nobody was there to rescue them

Story Order | 📕 With all major elements of the revamp now explored individually, it’s time to tie them together. Let’s dive into the full storyline, how each piece unfolds in order, how the events connect, and what future potential this revamp sets in motion. In Midnight, we travel to Harandar, the point where all World Trees converge, and learn more about the Haranir and their Rootways. Through these living pathways, they journey between Harandar and each World Tree: Teldrassil, Nordrassil, Vordrassil, Shaladrassil, Amirdrassil, and most mysteriously, Elun’Ahir. Armed with the revelations from The Legend of Elun’Ahir and the stories uncovered in Legends of the Haranir, we seek the Haranir’s guidance, asking where Elun’Ahir truly lies and how we might reach it. The Haranir Elders are reluctant; they rarely permit outsiders to walk the Rootways, and they guard their paths and customs fiercely. Yet with Orweyna’s aid, we manage to trace Harandar’s hidden roots to the long-lost World Tree. The trail leads us not to a forest canopy, but into a vast, immense cavern, one the Haranir tell us is called Shaqoala Cavern. As we begin exploring the cavern, it becomes immediately clear how perilous this place truly is. Twisted, unstable flora and fauna dominate the landscape, creating an atmosphere that is anything but welcoming. Before long, we encounter the Archivault Shellari, who guide us deeper into Shaqoala Cavern’s purpose. They introduce us to its history, its threats, and the challenges ahead. Our initial time in Shaqoala Cavern is short, but even that is enough to unsettle the delicate energies below. The Emberguards quickly sense the disruption and lead us to a massive platform lift that ascends through an opening in the cavern’s ceiling, carrying us toward the Titan facility known as Uldkaran. Though Uldkaran is distinctive in its structure and purpose, it is not entirely unfamiliar. As Champions of Azeroth, we have encountered many Titan sites before. Naturally, we set out to uncover what role Uldkaran plays - and, perhaps most importantly, to determine exactly where in the world this hidden complex lies. We eventually emerge into Un’Goro Crater and, despite its changes, quickly recognize that we’ve surfaced in the heart of southern Kalimdor. With a clearer understanding of our surroundings, we can now begin unraveling the mysteries and hidden conspiracies woven through each domain we’ve traversed.

Abyssal Garden | 🍂 The Abyssal Garden marks the southernmost reach of Shaqoala Cavern. It is a region steeped in corruption and deeply scarred by the touch of the Emerald Nightmare. This is where the roots of Elun’Ahir once anchored themselves. When Aman’Thul tore the tree away, Eonar’s bitter tears fell - unintentionally nourishing the remnants that remained buried within the cavern. In time, the Haranir arrived through their Rootways to safeguard these lingering roots. Yet through the primordial wound in Harandar - the Rift of Aln, Nightmare-touched creatures slipped through as well, taking hold of this once-sacred place. Among them came Il’gynoth, who slowly corrupted the surviving roots over the ages. A few of his fresh new whispers can be seen in the image, cryptic as always, and never explained, remaining open to speculation. Although this intrusion initially disrupted the Titans’ experimental efforts within the cavern, Keeper Freya and Watcher Nablya eventually chose not to purge the corruption. Instead, they contained it and repurposed its presence, using it to shape the first Umbracore Shellari and to begin controlled experiments involving Void influence.

Shaqoala Cavern | 🌴 Following the Nythroad downward on a platform elevator, we descend into Shaqoala Cavern, a vast, chaotic, and corrupted underground realm. As noted earlier, the cavern’s vertical scale is at least twice that of Un’Goro Crater, and if positioned directly beneath it, its sheer size would even extend beneath several neighboring zones. Shaqoala Cavern is the true hub of Titan experimentation, carried out primarily through the combined work of the Umbracore and Archivault Shellari. As we follow the Haranir through their Rootways into this hidden realm, we uncover a long-whispered legend: this is where the first World Tree, Elun’Ahir, once stood - or at least, what little remains of it... In this unstable ecosystem, we will face both familiar and entirely new threats while uncovering hidden conspiracies surrounding the creation of several races we’ve long known.

Chapter 3 of Harandar now, heading back to Eversong indeed! Here be spoilers, back at the Lightbloom near where the Amani cut one of the Lightwood trees down. Also I forgot to show the cool rootways animation for their portals the first time.

That's the end of Chapter 2, Chapter 3 tomorrow which is seemingly leading us back into Eversong? I very much like that Midnight is loosening its campaigns to not solely center around the one zone in question, and instead telling an interconnected story.

Again Halduron talks like a druid. Apparently while he didn't know about Harandar he's already familiar with "the Rootways."

Did Teldrassil even “have” roots the same way Nordrassil and Shaldrassil had? Those trees had 10.000 years to make rootways and Shaldrassil iirc was made specifically for the Emerald Dream so it makes sense that it had the deepest and most far reaching roots around Azeroth

-Harandar is "a pocket" that's "not really connected to anything." Haranir use the rootways to travel anywhere there's a World Tree. -Harandar is also the location of the Rift of Aln, which is where their Goddess's dreams and nightmares are made corporeal.
Haranir details: -They are the guardians of "the Rootway" -Orweyna is one of the youngest haranir alive, but her connection to their Goddess is stronger than the Elders'. -They are "not really elves, not really trolls." -Their druids have a pangolin form
