Thought it would be a cool idea. Never thought about whether anyone would actually use it. It was called Scrollytics and allowed a website owner to see what part of the website users actually stick to. The idea was to remove unnecessary stuff from landing pages. Found this old screenshot where you can see on the right side the part where the users on average stayed for the longest time.

Love that idea. I'm using #buildinpublic whenever I tweet about @scrollytics. And I search for this hashtag often to find new interesting projects. It's pretty cool to have one page with all the updates. Well done. 👍🤩

So I just shared @scrollytics in the r/SaaS group on Reddit. Let's see whether I can get some more feedback there. 💪 reddit.com/r/SaaS/comments/o… #buildinpublic

Today’s @scrollytics updates: - support for 3 breakpoints - collect session length Support for breakpoints was much needed. I will need to support custom breakpoints later, though.

Good morning! Today’s goals for @scrollytics: - Switch between screen sizes - Add Twitter login

Today’s @scrollytics update: - added button to regenerate screenshots - started working on support for tablet and mobile Tracking mouse movements on tablet/mobile will be difficult for sure 😅. Not sure if touch tracking actually makes sense 🤔. Any thoughts? #buildinpublic

Yeah, I've been there as well. It's a mess. And I'm really rooting for all solutions that go the cookieless way!

Thank you very much for your feedback! This was one of the things that I wanted right from the start, because I hate coping with GDPR and the likes (simply because I never know whether I’m doing it right or wrong). 😇

I’m working on @scrollytics , a landing page analytics tool. 🤩📈 It’s about how customers view, scroll through, and use your landing page before they either leave or sign up. In early stage. No cc. No cookies. No user tracking. Scrollytics.com #buildinpublic

Todays @scrollytics update: 🔸 fixed data reset 🔸 fixed aggregation of heatmap data 🔸 added new heatmap visualization 🔸 new the data model to reduce the data sent and stored by ~ 40% I need more real-life data. Currently: 0 users ☹️ #buildinpublic

So I did a couple of updates for @scrollytics lately. You can see insights about scroll behavior and mouse movement behavior. What is missing currently is real-life data. Anyone in the #startups #startup space who wants to give it a try? It's free while in beta. No cc required.

Phew... Did many improvements and fixes in the past 2 1/2 hours for @scrollytics . The session data is now a lot smaller. Time for breakfast.
