I don’t think the Shah of Iran is on the same level as Ataturk and Calles considering both Mexico and Turkey continue to have largely secular governments whereas the Shah didn’t have the savvy to maintain secularity in Iran

Faith is the foundation of culture. When both are alligned = identity. When both are splitted = secularity. It always has been at the advantage of Royals to keep our governement splited from our Faith. To make sure our governement serve the culture of Royals, not ours.

He was also a freemason, and any stan for his piety must reckon with what Saul Bellow called (approvingly) his "cheerful daylight secularity." For my money, both his c-minor mass and his requiem are far from suffused with Christian hope.

@TVKVijayHQ is trusted by many ppl across India as the face of secularity & equality 🫡💥❤️ We see individuals traveling from Orissa, Haryana, Kerala etc to meet #CMJosephVijay‌ in person; love for & impact by him is voluminous than what's perceived #TVK4People #TVK
North Indians see Vijay as someone who stands for the common man. No other CM in india has this much reach across the country.

Democracy is the first piece of shit we should excrete to save what is left of our existence. A "true democracy" is a disintegrating system, the opposite of the unity we need to survive. an excerpt of rhymed reason: Democracy was born out of Our inability To understand the common life Of all humanity. Democracy does not allow A space for empathy. It’s dominated by the meme What is in it for me? Democracy gives us ‘rights’ to Unfettered liberty. When ‘rights’ divide they're wrongs beyond All rationality. Democracy maintains divides In human unity. They are divisions that preclude Sustainability. Democracy is costing us Our livability. We cast a vote then pay for life. Division isn't free. Democracy supports all faiths And secularity. The conflict everyone has caused Helps write our history. Democracy distracts us from A sad reality, The harsh, corrupt dictatorship By our Economy. Democracy results in fights Because we can't agree. The politicking demonstrates Our asininity. Democracy gives us the right To our stupidity Despite the fact its consequence Will harm humanity. Democracy depends upon Made up philosophy With which we try to fill the void, The hole in life we see. Democracy will be our death Unless we can agree To end our tries to fill the void, Which feed democracy. Democracy we should change to A life of unity. Together is the only way We’ll save humanity. Democracy can be replaced With ideal anarchy, Self-governance by parallel, Innate activity.👇more thelastwhy.ca/poems/2011/2/5…

4/4. The nuance matters—high secularity is real, but cherry-picking max estimates as "70% atheists" ignores Pew/Gallup distinctions. Official sources show unaffiliated 50% in Sweden (lower in Finland), explicit atheism lower. Data over rhetoric. Wht specific source gives U 70%?

Nationalism is a European invention, deeply linked to Christianity. Secularity came later but Weber very well debunked it in 19th c already so we know how much secular is France or USA today.

In France, politicians and civil servants cannot display religious symbols while participating in official legislative meetings. To call out the fact that Muslims are sometimes allowed to ignore this rule by wearing religious clothing, an official from the National Rally prayed the Hail Mary in a council meeting. France’s longstanding policy of la laïcité, secularity, is coming under increasing pressure as the country becomes more multicultural.
Une adjointe au maire a dit "qu'elle était fière de porter le voile en conseil municipal. À la suite de cette réponse , j'ai alors exprimé ma foi de catholique", explique Kevin Nader, élu RN du conseil municipal d'Yvry-sur-Seine

Very helpful frame for understanding the social chaos we are experiencing, although I think it’s wrong to see Athens and Jerusalem as reason and faith; that polarity already concedes to secularity. Reason and faith are always both at work in human understanding - be it religious or secular or pagan or whatever. A better frame is General and Special revelation - both of which as you say are aimed at truth contra the third city, which is Babel.

Religion is personal, practice your religious laws & doctrines in your home & religion settings. Our secularity & diversity will not be sacrificed to those fanning the embers of disunity and chaos under the guise of religious solidarity with non-yoruba actors. We value our peace.

Without secularity in core BJP is the best option. Tolerant BJP, intolerant BJP instead of polluting other parties.
Raghav chaddha , Sayani ghosh , Sushmita dev are the best examples of why Congress doesn't appoint "youth" leaders for its crucial positions.
