Protecting Lake Simcoe is a team effort. I’m pleased to see the Government of Ontario announce another $2 million through the Invasive Species Action Fund, supporting 112 projects across the province, including the ongoing response to water soldier in Lake Simcoe. Water soldier is an invasive aquatic plant that can have significant impacts on aquatic ecosystems and recreational use if left unchecked. The best approach is to act early, before small problems become much larger ones. What strikes me most about this work is the collaboration it requires. Municipalities, Minister @Andrea_Khanjin and PA @MurphyGallagher, conservation partners, community organizations and volunteers all have a role to play. No single organization can protect Lake Simcoe on its own. As Thursday I was driving down 24 south heading towards Port Rowan coming into Saint Williams right by the golf course got behind a black SUV. I was doing 110 and an 80 yes I was speeding. I was 30 over I went to pass this guy. He was doing way under the speed limit so I went to pass him. I got right on his ass went around him. Once I got around him, he spent right off and when I looked at my backup camera, you couldn’t get my hand between my back my bumper and his bumper. It would be no way so me being a smart ass that I am a downshifted. I went from 110 down to zero in no time I dropped that car right down to nothing put it in park got right out when I walked up to the guy‘s car or SUV I should say I asked him what the hell was the problem and he said to me while you’re swerving all over the road I said so you we’re doing stunt drive behind me road rage with a baby or a child in the backseat crying and he opens up his little wallet and it’s got a badge in it and it shows me a cop badge. You’re a cop on top of it driving like an asshole. How about I call right now and report you and I get a cop and on duty cop here right now. Listen to me get back in your car and get out of here so I don’t have to. I sit here all day long. He said it to me again getting in your car and he took my picture of his phone and then he started recording everything I was saying to him don’t be within an idiot. If I had to touch my brakes, he would’ve hit me and went right through my car cause I was doing about 110 130 and he was right on top of my bumper where he would’ve went right through me, I turned to come down to Saint Williams for the Farm Road. He followed me right down it right in the Saint Williams. I turned to come down to go come towards Port. He didn’t bother that’s the kind of cop we have today. What’s the other ones like? I’d say he was probably about25 to 30 years old. but you say you wanna start nailing people doing driving like this yeah maybe I was driving a little erotic and speeding. I can handle my own vehicle. I know how my vehicle runs. I know how to handle my vehicle. I can put it on the track and I can do 240 km an hour in my vehicle on a track with no problem. I don’t even admit I’ve had mine up to 180 on the roads on the highway. I wanted to say highway, but I’ve had it on the highway on the 400 series. I’ll say this we got a lot of hotheaded cops out there, and I know for a fact because I’ve been told by others that I have friends of mine that live in Simcoe Highway three they fly like hell leaving the police station and they know for a fact, they’re not going on a call because they see him going to a Tim Hortons afterwards or they see him going into McDonald’s so they’re not going anywhere important something needs to be done about it before they hit somebody.!!!!!
