The StructureScan Mini XT was used for a demonstration at the Ostia Antica in a private section of the archaeological park. The Mini XT located the presence of mosaic tiles under several inches of dirt. You can see a small area of mosaic tiles that are exposed.

The data set below was taken with the StructureScan Mini XT on a newly poured structural concrete beam. At 15cm down, you can see a slight reflection from the reinforcing steel that's in line with the direction of the scan.
