Fantastic. Huge thanks to you both. I have both Import and Update working for creating and updating SystemUsers and adding SecurityUserRoleAssociations to SystemUsers. Quite the learning curve understanding the datamodel but SUCCESS 👍🏻

Still stumped. Assuming you aren't using AAD Groups to do coarse-grained authZ and you want to update existing D365 F&O PersonUsers and SystemUsers with additional (or remove) SecurityUserRoles what does the Import-D365ODataEntityBatchMode payload look like?

But looking at the properties, I would still argue, that everything is centered around the "UserId" property between the SystemUsers / PersonUsers entities and the SecurityRoles / SecurityGroups. @splaxi QQ: Digging into d365fo.integrations after a long hiatus. Get-D365ODataEntityData for "PersonUsers" & "SystemUsers" can enumerate, but missing the relationship with "SecurityRoles" etc. Invoke-D365ODataEntityAction doesn't seem to expose either. Not possible via OData?

If I am not wrong, I think the syntax is something like “/systemusers(<user id>)” - I don’t play as often as I would like with cloud flows to be 100% sure 😅

The User (systemuser) table has a column called azureactivedirectoryobjectid that you can map to. Put that new ID into a variable and use the format /systemusers(variable) in the Project Manager field.
