Okay, this one is a big win for the
@SlingshotDAO fam. Let’s break it down.
The Showcase Relaunch proposal passed, and now we’ve got two big rounds coming up:
First up in June, we’re hosting the Slipshot-themede getting the Slipshot themed Showcase. Basically, the core team will create and load up Slipshot style cosmetics and add ons.
The goal is to push them live immediately as Slipshot drops and earn an easy 100,000 Robux (approximately $1,250) for the DAO treasury. Pure and simple.
Then in July, it’s open season. An open-format UGC showcase goes live. This is where you, or any creator, can jump in and build digital stuff, music tracks, branding packs, mini‑games, mobile ideas, or even tools. Basically, it’s an invite for the wider creator community to flex, with final budget details coming soon.
There’s also a new POD Framework. Focus PODs are popping up to help review and manage submissions, run marketing, moderate, and make sure the whole thing doesn’t turn into a mess.
Slipshot brings in quick revenue to keep the engine running, while the open UGC round is like opening the gates for creators to plug into the
@SlingshotDAO ecosystem.
That means more income, more utility for
$SLING, and more ways for artists, devs, musicians, and creators to have a piece of the pie.
Stay tuned. The actual timeline and submission guides will drop soon.
This is the DAO doing exactly what it should, putting its tokens, IP, and platform to work in ways that benefit both the treasury and the creators.
They’re setting themselves up to have a runway of fresh ideas and revenue while making it worthwhile for the community to build and earn.
The fact that the DAO is making space for all kinds of creators from game devs to music makers tells me
@SlingshotDAO understands where the future of Web3 is headed.
