War is inherently uncomfortable. Serving in the military means becoming part of a cohesive unit, putting aside personal proclivities for the sake of the team and the mission. If someone cannot reconcile or even set aside for the duration of service, being uncomfortable in themselves or put theneeds of the many over their own desires then no, they shouldn’t serve.
