A 72-year-old woman was allegedly robbed of gold jewellery weighing around eight tolas by two men in Maharashtra's Dhule district
they accused claimed that her child's life was in danger and convinced her to hand over her ornaments for a ritual.
The victim, Pratibha Kulkarni, was out for a morning walk near the District Court when the accused approached her.
The entire incident was captured on CCTV. Police have registered a case and launched an investigation to trace the suspects.
