Today, we presented Elvira Green with an honorary degree of Doctor of Letters.
Green has used her lifelong passion for music to impact the Greensboro community in a variety of ways, from the Greensboro Opera Board to the Singers Studio and beyond.

Caleb Kirk swapped a business-management career for teaching kindergarten and brought his passion for dance with him.
Now teaching in Kernersville, he’s using his skills as a former national shag-dance champion to make school fun.
