I've seen the opposite too. Men who will never obey any authority but themselves, but somehow they expect their children to obey them to the uttermost. They model disrespect & rebellion while requiring total obedience. (See also: Mark Driscoll & Doug Wilson.)

I need to remain close to CHRIST, allow the HOLY SPIRIT to give me courage, and share with love what I have seen and heard of GOD’S goodness. 🙏 FINAL REFLECTION True witnessing begins with being with JESUS. The disciples were not powerful because of human education, but because the HOLY SPIRIT filled them and because they had walked with CHRIST. In the same way, our testimony becomes strong when it flows from a real relationship with GOD. We witness not because we are forced, but because we have seen HIS love, received HIS mercy, and cannot remain silent about HIS goodness.
