No. I'm associating my ancestors with vimy ridge. Also. Your hatred of the working class betrays your Jewishness. Let me guess. You think men who work are cattle and you make your money from some Jewish financial scam.

They went in 1915 and 1916. Both were seriously hurt, blown up on Vimy Ridge and gassed at Arras. I loved them both , my Grandpa and my Poppa.

Even my wife's family, who are the most recent arrivals among us, arrived in time for service at Vimy Ridge and the ultimate sacrifice at Hill 70.
Interesting that Carney's Irish grandparents immigrated to Canada only in 1925. So @MarkJCarney is a third generation "immigrant." There are Chinese and Indians in Canada who've been in Canada for more generations than that. 😎reuters.com/world/americas/c…

It is a week in Canada, I abbreviated it as wk. But all those other days, throughout the year are all moving. The Battle of the Atlantic and Vimy events are particularly moving imo (both in the spring). I am surprised we don’t have a Passendale Memorial Day though.
