Educating Yorkshire is on Channel 4 tonight at 8pm. I'm thrilled to have been part of the team bringing this back - it's the same school from 12 years ago but the world is now totally different. Huge huge thank you to the brilliant team who worked on this

Pleased to announce our three-part miniseries about Bareknuckle boxing in the north of england is out on Vice. It's a complex story about men's mental health and we're proud of all those that gave their time to the film.
I’ve never shared this online before. 8 years ago I was stabbed 5 times on a night out. I hardly spoke about it after and just cracked on. I was lucky to come away without life changing injuries but what I noticed was the lasting impact on my mental health.
“My mum has given me a lot and helped me through a lot so it should be my turn to help her as well.” 12-year-old Jed has had to grow up fast since his mum fell ill with Guillain-Barré syndrome. Join @ronkephillips on Tonight at 20:30 as she meets young carers from across the UK who are doing extraordinary work to help those they love. #ITVTonight
Paula, you’re a real fighter! If you can relate to her story too and need to talk to someone, @macmillancancer has lots of help and support available.

“You turn up and you do your best but sometimes your best isn’t good enough. Sometimes I have to break devastating news. I try and comfort people at the worst moments of their life and then before you know it the next call comes in. It makes me treasure life.” – Aiden. #Ambulance
We’ll never tolerate abuse to our staff. We’re here to help and our staff do not deserve to be verbally or physically attacked. It’s not part of the job. ❌❌

Filming with Jess for tonight’s episode and seeing first hand the compassion she has despite her own personal struggles was inspiring. Across the NHS people like Jess are consistently there for our loved ones and for that we are forever grateful. So proud! #Ambulance
Jess, your mum sounds like an inspiration and she must be so proud of you for going after your dreams and selflessly helping others despite your own pain - as are we! You’re a true gem and we’re lucky to have you. 💫

A beautiful thought in tonight’s #Ambulance - nearly everyone in the UK has had the NHS walk along with them since they were a kid.
Now with state we are in we need it more than ever for the rest of our journey.
Please watch now or catch up on iPlayer and be thankful.

“I have experienced mental health trauma in my life but as an adult. I can only imagine how difficult it must be for someone in their young years going through that.”

“That one person that can give a little bit of hope can mean so much to somebody who is ill. This is why I am in the job, once they can feel good at some point, that is what counts, really.” Rachel, you are a credit to our service. #Ambulance
“It's ok not to be okay, but it's not okay to stay that way” #Ambulance throws a sharp light on a crisis of mental health which is definitely not okay. Thank you to all who share their stories.

The brand new series of #Ambulance is returning to @bbcone this Thursday 24th August at 9pm.
It's another incredible series with the @NWAmbulance team, filmed during a historical period of uncertainty for the NHS, from the picket line to the front line.
Still my favourite show on tv - #Ambulance never fails to make me smile and cry. Beautiful. And how brave and amazing is Melissa sharing her struggle with post-natal depression? So much respect for her.
