Yet, instead of appreciating these efforts, every development initiative often becomes a subject of criticism. At times, it seems as though many people were more comfortable with the old, inefficient systems than with the challenges that come with progress. Visionary leadership is rarely appreciated in the moment, but its impact is measured over decades.
