I know this is silly hill to die on but... whenever I hear folks talk about certain kid MMO experiences as being revolutionary for their brand integrations and accessible experiences... I want to explode.
All has happened before, namely between 2007-2012. Then the app world cost of safety ops destroyed the virtual worlds for kids. Yes, they're back thanks to Roblox, Fortnite, etc. - but I expected more innovation on top of what we started and clear acknowledgement of the learnings from the "before times" -- and less broad stroke gloss about reinventing the wheel and calling it new.
I know. I'm silly. But for those of us who moved mountains to make cool things... it's infuriating.
