I've used Pinterest for my blog for a decade. I've much all the strategies, pin designs, templates and more. It ebbs and flows but stick with it and you'll reap the rewards.
My account brings between 50k-150k a month depending on the season.

Here's the thing, like any of these platforms it rewards quality. Don't abuse it, don't spam it, don't try and trick it. There's no quick results.

It’s been more than 20 years since media headlines about the Women’s Health Initiative study incorrectly linked HRT to an increased risk of breast cancer, but even today many women still avoid HRT because of perceived breast cancer fears.
This misinformation is really damaging to women’s health, so on my podcast this week I invited Dr Avrum Bluming to join me. Avrum is a leading US oncologist and has spent 25 years studying the benefits and risks of HRT in breast cancer survivors.
As you’ll hear in the episode, Avrum tells me about more recent studies that have shown that oestrogen alone decreases the risk of breast cancer development by 23% and the risk of death from breast cancer by 40%. Yet many people still do not realise this.

So now, not only will be offered anti-depressants instead of HRT, they'll throw in CBT too! For goodness sake, who thinks this stuff up!
And let's face it, it's going to be a book to read isn't it - an actual F2F appointment will take years.

If you're using Pinterest for your blog, here are some tips to help you avoid being marked as SPAM!
1. Make strategy changes slowly. Monitor results.
2. Do not ignore best practices e.g. pinning too many pins from one URL or saving other people's pins.

Always make sure you're following advice from someone you trust.
And make sure their tips work on other accounts, not just their own. Too many people say they're an expert when they've come across a plan that works JUST for them.

Remember there's a difference between a Pinterest content creator and using Pinterest for a blog.
One creates content to stay on the platform, the other likes Pinterest traffic ;)

Just checking Pinterest stats:
Top 50 traffic pins - 23 were made this year.
Top 10 - the top pin at 4.25k per month is from Jan 23. And 5 others were pinned this year too.
50k traffic per month at 2 hours (avg) effort per week.
Pinterest new pins DO work. Keep pinning!

Pinterest tip:
I've been scheduling pins for over 6 years.
Schedule your pins using @tailwindapp for speed, efficiency and maximum ROI. I've just filled my schedule for the next 4 weeks with Autumn and Holiday pins. Pinterest traffic hasn't been this good for a LONG time!
