In a 3,000 @wirecutter article about beef hot dogs, @nytimes writer Kathleen Squires calls them "joy in a bun" and a "delight," but fails to mention that processed meat is a @WHO Group 1 carcinogen; that beef production is a major driver of environmental harm; and that meat is the product of an industry built on animal suffering. @BenFrumin#wirecutter - These are irresponsible and harmful omissions.
I have signed this Open Letter calling on animal health representatives to update global transport standards and bring about an end to long distance transport. This cruel trade must change. tinyurl.com/2rb5pskx#BanLiveExports
By routinely excluding opposing perspectives, @MSNOWNews treats the cattle industry's protection and survival as beyond debate. @MSNOWComms - you can't claim the moral high ground while ignoring its impact on public health, the animals and the planet. cc: @AliVelshi@RachelVanD

As #plantbased burgers gained mainstream popularity in the mid-2010s, the meat industry poured millions into PR and advertising to vilify them. Thanks to reporter @emilyaheil of the @washingtonpost for highlighting the propaganda campaign and the other challenges faced by companies producing #vegan foods (that are better for our health, the planet and the animals).

This @UNILAD article about one tragic incident that may or may not be related to a vitamin deficiency portrays #plantbased diets as dangerous, which is categorically untrue. This is irresponsible journalism.
@EmilyBrown_6@ladbible - Stigmatizing #veganism does a grave disservice to your readers' health, the planet and the animals.
In story after story, the @WSJ frames high prices as the biggest issue associated with the beef industry. This coverage routinely overlooks far more consequential issues, including environmental destruction, animal cruelty and human health. Why does the #WSJ omit these existential issues from its beef industry coverage? cc: @PatThomas1318@wadeNYC@Ajawmoore
