AKAI MPCは60、60Ⅱ、3000までロジャー・リンが開発にかかわっており、サンプラー部などデジタルな部分はAKAIの技術を使っていますが、AD/DA回路などアナログ部分でロジャーが特別なチューニングをしていて、ドラム音のアタックが立つように最適化されています。

thats not to downplay his efforts as the snap sound was a whole diff bag but it was polarizing and not a technical feat (prolly a lesson in minimalism)
