These copies of my novel have just become historical. My publisher closed. There will never be another copy printed with this publisher logo. Now to figure out what to do with the story inside the cover.

My cat has decided it's time I stop editing for the night and go to bed. She just shoved away my keyboard for the third time and is yelling at me. I surrender.

I'm trying to #edit, and my youngest is listening to the TV so loud - in the other room - I can literally hear every word. It's extremely distracting.
For the record, I've asked them to turn it down. But the volume just keeps climbing back up.

Snuck in some reading time this evening. (I've a library book that's due back.) While I buy a lot of books (scary big TBR pile), libraries are awesome for picking up a new series or author while my kids do the same. We've bought into a lot of series this way.

Got two hours of editing in tonight. My eyes are starting to blur, so it's time to stop. But it feels good to get some work done.

Pausing in my late night editing, I spy both my cats sitting near me.
Awwww. They're so nice to keep me company.
One gets up and meangingfully sashays toward the kitchen.

I love how my cats hang out with me during my late night editing sessions. They wait patiently for me to go to bed... so they can trap my legs in some hideously uncomfortable position the moment I go to sleep. π

Went to a book club for the first time last night (as a reader, not an author). As well as talking books, we colored bookmarks. This is how mine turned out. It was a really fun night, and I now have an even bigger TBR pile. π
