On the anniversary of the Grenfell Tower fire, we remember the 72 people who died and their friends, families and loved ones who continue to seek justice. We remember also the six people who died at Lakanal House in our borough in 2009, the people who were injured, and the lives that were changed forever. Southwark Council is deeply aware of the responsibility we have on fire and building safety. We have taken action to make our council homes safe, and it continues to be the top priority of this administration.
