About a decade ago, we were inspired by a workshop at Liverpool Makefest where an organisation called the Dark Water Foundation taught us how to build palm-sized underwater rovers using Lego, 35mm film canisters, and some small brushed DC motors.
Fuelled by nostalgia, we decided to make a more modern attempt using Raspberry Pi Pico.

#Davros went to @LpoolMakeFest today.
My highlight.
A young boy lit up when he saw me, and we shared several lovely moments. Later, his mum thanked me—he never speaks, she said, until today, when he met me. He even drew me a picture. I'm honoured to display it.
