I think Daniel does an amazing job covering the Mariners, this is not shade at all, but I hate the usage of “Doom Tweeting”.
I feel like a lot of Mariners fans don’t allow any criticism of the team. Either you pretend everything is perfect, or you don’t speak.
That’s not how life, or sports work.
You don’t think the players & coaches right now (even in 1st place) talk about the issues they have and how to fix those issues?

They're in first place in the AL West, and even if they weren't, their record would have them as the third AL Wild Card.
So "right now", they would be a playoff team.
