Like many chefs, I started out washing dishes in a local pub kitchen and waiting tables. It didn’t take long to realise that I wanted to be a chef—the buzz, the teamwork, the energy—it was intoxicating. As I worked in different kitchens, I knew I wanted to learn from the best and, one day, lead a Michelin-starred restaurant. When we opened Moor Hall in March 2017, our goal was to create a world-class destination. The ambition to earn 3 MICHELIN Stars felt outrageous, that dream has become a reality. I’m incredibly fortunate to have the support of my amazing partners, Andy & Tracey, my wife Jenn, and my family. And, of course, our unbelievably talented team—many of whom have been with us from day one. They are what makes Moor Hall what it is every single day.
