After our second state championship, I decided to fully dedicate myself to transforming my body and cleansing and preparing for the next level. Right after the season ended in December, I went on a strict 3-week cleanse where I only ate fruits, vegetables, and a protein shake sauna time before bed. After the long football season, I wanted to reset both mentally and physically. I went from about 220 lbs down to 205 lbs during that process.
Over the last couple months, I’ve been competing in a transformation challenge through my local gym, ECA, focused on muscle gain and lowering body fat percentage. Since then, I’ve completely changed my approach to training and nutrition. I switched to an almost full carnivore-style diet (with potatoes and eggs included and about chipotle once or twice a day ), consistently eating around 6,000 calories a day tracking with my fitness pal while balancing workouts and lacrosse season.
Working with trainers at my local gym and coaches from my high school, I’ve made huge strides physically and athletically. I brought my weight back up to around 230 lbs while improving my speed and explosiveness. My 40 time dropped to a 4.67, and my 5-10-5 shuttle improved to a 4.32 at 230lb laser time with my local junior football team North Seattle, Titans that I also COACH on the side for community service. On top of that, I added 15–20 pounds to all of my max lifts.
This process has taught me a lot about discipline, consistency, and trusting the work even when nobody sees it. Huge thank you to all my trainers, coaches, teammates, and everyone who’s helped push me through this journey. I’m excited for the upcoming football season and all the camps ahead. The work is just getting started. Extremely grateful for God‘s protection during this crazy process on my body couldn’t have done it without my mom and dad support of buying half a cow about twice and all the chipotle runs
