TRAFFIC UPDATE: North bound traffic on NM 170 will be open intermittently.  South bound traffic still closed being diverted onto NM 574 for the foreseeable future.

NM Highway 170 near the 12-mile marker in San Juan County remains closed due to a fire incident. Fire crews are still working in the area. Motorists should avoid the area and use County Road 1191 as an alternate route. Expect delays.
