First, @NoMaBID did amazing work this week to clear out the lake of icy standing water and make the Trail passable again. Big thanks to their team!

Thank you to @CMZParker5 for asking @DDOTDC today about what it will cost to fix the constantly-flooding part of the Metropolitan Branch Trail under New York Avenue NE.
Thousands of residents, commuters, and tourists use the MBT daily and this problem can make it impassable.
Wednesday was a big day for ridership!
- 573k rail trips, a top 10 day since 2020
- NoMa-Gallaudet U hit an all-time ridership record
- Highest ridership day since 2020 at Bethesda, Columbia Heights, & Potomac Av
- The morning rush (8-9 a.m.) was our 2nd busiest hour since 2020

Today, @charlesallen helped cut the ribbon on @georgetown's new space at 111 Mass Ave NW! The areas between Union Station & the core of downtown keep evolving & the university is helping lead the way. This is a remarkable example of reusing a building for today & the future.

This weekend, free shuttle buses replace trains between Union Station and Rhode Island Av. NoMa-Gallaudet U Station closed. On the Silver Line, trains run between Ashburn and New Carrollton only.
