⭐ ACIC Update: Mahoning County CTC ⭐ A new 13,000-SF facility is on track to open this summer at @MCCTC in Canfield. The facility will serve as a school-based health clinic that provides outpatient mental and physical well-being services.

Thank you to Peterson Construction Company for these aerial photos of four schools being built for Troy City Schools in Miami County. These facilities are three PK-4 schools (North, East, and West) and one intermediate school (South) for students in grades 5-6.

⭐ ACIC Update: Fayetteville-Perry LSD ⭐ Construction crews are entering the final weeks of work on the Rocket Community Wellness Center. @FP_Schools is building a facility that will serve as a center for public education, community health services, and workforce development.

A brand-new welcome center is coming to the Dawes Arboretum in Newark, and we have played a small part in its creation by administering a cultural facilities grant for new water lines to support the facility.

Thank you to @rlgbuilds for these drone photos taken at the site of the new high school being built for @BGSchools. This new three-story, 155,000-square-foot facility is scheduled to open for the Bobcats in fall 2027.

An historic building in Kenton recently received some important updates thanks to a cultural facilities grant we administered to the Hardin County Armory. The grant went toward window replacements and “re-pointing” (replacing old mortar between bricks with new) of the building.

The new Search and Rescue Tower and Burn Building are coming along in Reynoldsburg for our partners at @OhioFire and the @OhioCommerce. These facilities will enhance training resources for current and future generations of Ohio firefighters and EMS professionals.

An important milestone took place in May at the site of the future PK-5 school being built for the Northwest Local School District as steel erection began in the kindergarten wing. Progress continues with the project on track for completion in time for the 2027-28 school year.

⭐ ACIC Update: Indian Creek LSD ⭐ The future Jefferson County Community Innovation Center is coming together in Mingo Junction, home of the Indian Creek Local School District. The 14,000-square-foot facility is scheduled to open later this summer.

⭐ ACIC Update: Bridgeport EVSD ⭐ Our latest Appalachian Community Innovation Centers (ACIC) grant program update comes from southeast Ohio, where a 28,500-square-foot addition is being built in front of the Bridgeport EVSD’s elementary school. “The Bridge” opens this summer!

Here is an update from Hamilton County, where @Finneytownlocal is getting a new middle-high school. This 72,236-square-foot school, which will house more than 400 students in grades 7-12 is scheduled to be completed in December.

The Ohio Village renovation project at the Ohio History Connection in Columbus remains on track – pun intended – with the recent move of the village’s bright red caboose to its final location. The reno project is scheduled for completion later this year.

Big news from downtown Uhrichsville. The Clay Capital Heritage Center recently celebrated its grand opening, which we aided with a trio of cultural facilities grants we administered. Special thanks to Senior Grants Administrator Jessica DeLong for her efforts.

An important milestone recently took place in Greene County, where staff and students got the opportunity to sign a beam that will be installed in the new middle school being built for @FairbornSkyhawk. Fairborn Middle School is tentatively scheduled to open spring 2027.
