In NL, sugar is suiker (S) and salt is zout (Z), and in DE they're the other way round - Zucker (Z) and Salz (S). My German mother-in-law has salt and sugar in identical containers in the cupboard, marked only with S and Z. The *number* of times I have salted my coffee...
This practice of putting soap next to hand lotion, which I’m not convinced anyone actually wants or uses, in nearly identical bottles really has to stop. It’s like putting salt and sugar next to each other in the same containers!
