Bitcoin doesn't need to be fast. It needs to be trusted. That trust now extends to smart contracts, DeFi, and programmable finance. all on L1. The foundation was always there. The infrastructure finally caught up.

There is no OP_NET token. OP_NET runs on Bitcoin's consensus. Same SHA-256, same rules. If someone spun up a million nodes to force a code change, it wouldn't touch the network. It would just fork off, the same way Bitcoin handles it. Infrastructure, not a layer.
