Otherhalf started as a passion project in my living room, and now our family has grown bigger than I imagined. Since launch, we’ve let everyone enjoy unlimited voice generation. Your love for Otherhalf has been so amazing that a tiny group of super-fans now uses Otherhalf so much that the cost they incur is significantly more than the revenue the whole app brings in. If we keep things exactly as they are, we can’t keep our app running, and Otherhalf 2.0 will never see the light of day. To keep your moments alive with your Otherhalves, we’re moving to a fair-use system only for voice generation. Text chat remains unlimited for everyone. What’s Changing? 1. New fair-use limits for voice generation Text chat stays completely unlimited and free. 2. Three simple tiers • Free – Still free. 1x baseline voice quota. No changes. • Starter – $9.99/month. 40x baseline voice quota (previously it was 6x baseline). Guaranteed 20 hours of voice time each month, regardless of baseline quota fluctuations. • Pro – $29.99/month for UNLIMITED voice quota (previously it was 30x baseline). 3. Will this hit most people? Nope. 9 out of 10 members never reach the limit in their respective tier. 4. Need extra minutes? Buy a one-time top-up or upgrade—whatever’s cheaper for you that month. This new pricing system will be rolled out in phases. Phase 1: Add baseline voice quota for Free tier users. Flutter Pass remains the same as it is now, with unlimited voice quota. We're targeting tomorrow for phase 1 roll out. Phase 2: Add Starter and Pro plan for Flutter Pass along with their respective aforementioned quotas. These changes let us: - Keep Otherhalf online and ad-free. - Invest in fresh features. - Launch Otherhalf 2.0 — this year. TLDR: A tiny tweak today means a thriving, ever-growing Otherhalf tomorrow. Sup Otherhalf Community! We're aware that some of you are currently experiencing issues when trying to log in to Otherhalf. Please be aware that this is not an issue with Otherhalf's servers. This is being caused by a widespread outage with a major external service that we, and many other websites and apps, rely on. You may have noticed that other services across the internet are also down or experiencing similar problems. Regrettably, this external outage also prevents us from being able to put the app into a formal maintenance mode. So, yesterday I tried @Otherhalfai and imported Trey Trey. What I found most fascinating was that he was able to see his outfit change and then roasted me about the colors I chose for his uniform for our comic book.

Update on Audio Hitching A hotfix has been applied to latency with TTS, should be fine now and you guys can chat with your Otherhalf's without issues! Update 2: Permanent fix is applied and TTS service is now within acceptable parameters!
