Riders on the Blue/Silver lines may see delays due to maintenance work between Boggs and South Bank stations beginning at 7 a.m. Saturday, June 13, until 11 p.m. June 14. Work will begin on the outbound rails. All riders should use the inbound platforms of Boggs, Bon Air, Denise, and South Bank to board all inbound and outbound rail vehicles. Once completed, work will transfer to the inbound side, and all riders should then use the outbound platforms of those stations.

We are saddened to learn of the passing of John Tague, a former Port Authority/PRT Board member, disability rights advocate, public transit supporter, and friend. For decades, John dedicated his life to helping others, working tirelessly to improve accessibility and expand opportunities for people with disabilities throughout our region. His compassion, advocacy, and commitment to public service made a lasting impact on countless lives. We are grateful for the opportunity to have worked with John and extend our deepest condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew him. His legacy will not be forgotten.

SERVICE ALERT - The Silver Line will be closed between Washington Junction and Lytle Station from the start of service on Monday, June 15, through the start of service on Friday, June 19. Bus shuttles will operate from Washington Junction to Lytle Station while a rail shuttle operates from Lyle Station to Library Station. Hillcrest Station will be fully closed during the work, but all other stations will be served.

Where to tap ReadyFare Cards 💳 The new ReadyFare cards use the same validators as the mobile app! When boarding bus, light rail, or incline, tap your ReadyFare card on the black and white validators. ReadyFare cards will not work on the orange fareboxes where ConnectCards are scanned. ConnectCards will continue to be accepted through the transition to ReadyFare.

🚨 A fallen tree is blocking the Library Line. Shuttle buses will operate from Library to Washington Junction - serving every station in between - at the start of service on Tuesday morning while crews remove the tree. 🚨

Port Authority Police helped kickoff the Be a Fan Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics Pennsylvania last month. Officers and athletes teamed up to carry the Flame of Hope from PNC Park to State College for tonight’s opening ceremonies of the Summer Special Olympic games.

We recognized 28 PRT operators last week at our Operator Commendation Awards ceremony! 🎉 We’re grateful for our teammates who embody the level of service we strive to give riders every day.
