Tom Marquand on how More Thunder in the Queen Anne could quite conceivably make or break his week
π£οΈ "On his Lockinge run and what he was doing at the end of last year, he's a horse we're really looking forward to.
"He's felt great in his work and everybody is super happy with him. He has to turn the form around with Notable Speech, but he has a run under his belt now and Ascot lends itself to his style of running.
"Notable Speech is electric and there's no getting away from that. Ascot is probably not quite as easy a track for him to use that asset, though. He was dominant in the Lockinge but our fella ran absolutely huge and felt like he'd take a nice step forward into his second run.
"He ran in the Wokingham last year, but it's a different kettle of fish as we're coming in with a proven horse this time. He went on to be a Group 2 winner last season when his rate of improvement was a joke.
"Everybody breathes a sigh of relief when they get a winner on the board and it can be a long week if you have to wait until the end of it, or not at all. He gives us a great chance early on."
