π How to report your content performance to brands
I'm clearing out some docs and came across a write-up on how I report my content and campaign performance to brands. Figured it might give some insight for other creators.
A Proof of Execution (POE) report is essential for demonstrating the results and value of your collaboration with a brand. Hereβs what you should include in a comprehensive POE report:

Content Links: Provide links to each piece of content that was created as part of the campaign.
Content Descriptions: Briefly describe each content piece, including the key messages, hashtags used, and any CTAs (Call to Actions).
π 3. Performance Metrics

Engagements: Include likes, comments, shares, and other forms of engagement.
Click-Through Rate (CTR): If applicable, provide the CTR for any links or CTAs.
Conversions: Report on any conversions, such as product sales, sign-ups, or downloads, if trackable.
Audience Demographics: Overview of who engaged with the content (age, gender, location, etc.), if available.
π₯ 4. Social Media and Community Insights

π€ 7. Learnings and Recommendations

Recommendations for Future Campaigns: Provide insights or suggestions for how future campaigns could be improved or expanded.
π 8. Conclusion

As a visual example for this, here's a campaign report I did for ASUS ROG on their 2024 SummerFest sale:

This structure is something I've perfected overtime. It presents a clear, detailed, and professional POE report that showcases the value that I provided to the brand.
β
Yes, it takes a few hours to make this.
β No, no every brand asks for it, nor do you need to do this.
However, I consistently get praised for how easy I am as a creator to work with and honestly, providing a report of your work should be the bare minimum in my opinion. You're providing a service which shouldn't stop the moment you press "post" or "go live".
βWhat is my credibility
I've been in this industry for almost 10 years now and I've seen both sides of it. I've worked alongside a corporate tech company handling multiple influencer campaigns and being the "middle man" between much larger companies. I know what we looked for and I know what the brands wanted to see.
I've also leveraged my friends' knowledge across multiple industries who run their own influencer campaigns and tweaked the strategies based on their asks. And I also have my own experience from creating these reports for a very, very long time.
Please note: Some brands and talent agencies require only screenshots of the metrics from work, provide them that but also a sheet with the raw data. This is a bespoke "service" I offer when I'm working with brands directly who accept the offer when I provide it to them. It does take a while to perfect the workflow but over time I've gotten it down to only a few hours. The client is happy, I'm happy, and my work is professional from start to end.
