What happens when two icons come together? Last year, Indian and Pakistani restaurant Royal Nawaab announced they’d be opening their new location in Stockport’s iconic pyramid, and already this hugely ambitious project looks to be a game changer.
The Royal Nawaab already have two huge restaurants in London, but the pyramid will be something else entirely. It’ll have the feel of a luxury hotel and the capacity of a cruise ship.
Guests will enter through a grand lobby, featuring custom lighting that cascades down several stories, as they make their way to the 400 seater ‘theatre kitchen’ restaurant. This will feel cosy and intimate in comparison to the cavernous banqueting suites - the largest in the UK - which will host up to 800 exclusive party-goers.
The menu will range from all your curry house classics to the most elaborate of feasts, 140 different dishes of the stuff, with 150 staff working at any one time.
