Christina Edkins was a 16 year old girl from Birmingham who was stabbed to death on a rush hour bus in the city in March 2013 while on her way to school.
Her killer was Philip Simelane, a 23 year old man from Swaziland and moved to Britain with his family at the age of nine.
He was detained indefinitely under the Mental Health Act at Birmingham Crown Court in October 2013.

Jodie Chesney, was a 17 year old Girl Scout from East London, who was murdered on 1 March 2019 in Amy's Park, Harold Hill, Romford.
While sitting with friends she was stabbed once in the back in a mistaken identity attack by drug dealers seeking revenge on rivals and died in her boyfriend's arms.
The killers were Svenson Ong-a-Kwie, a drug dealer and his 17 year-old runner Arron Isaacs.
They approached silently in balaclavas, with Ong-a-Kwie inflicting the fatal wound.
