I played minor league “A-ball” for parts of 8 seasons across 2009-2017, skipping only one season because I was in indy ball instead.
Back on the A ball bus for my rehab stint, and holy crap are things infinitely better for the players now. Love to see it.

18 year old Ugandan third baseman Bernard Eluk has a .428 average with a 1.174 OPS for the Asahikawa Be:Stars, an independent Japanese team. The stats are even better than their website says. He’s a legit prospect and I’m surprised he was not signed by an MLB team
