What a pitifully short and inadequate answer from the PM, lieing about the Government’s policies on nature and relying on climate >mitigation< action by the Govt when it is climate >adaptation< action that is most missing, as these suppressed reports attest. Well done @AdrianRamsay for forcing this vital question onto the highest stage in British politics!
Without transformational change, our food and water systems are on course for catastrophic failure from 2030. I am deeply disappointed that the PM did not commit to publishing the reports in full.

Yesterday I asked the PM to publish two crucial reports warning of catastrophic threats to our security. Now it's official: El Niño conditions are underway in the tropical Pacific. The implications for food security are serious. The Prime Minister must come to Parliament and set out an immediate plan to protect the country. bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c75y…

"...where I live, we have a resilience network of people from within 5 miles of the local area. We get together and do all sorts of things such as trade tips, produce, seeds and plants. We organise events and we planted a community orchard…" We all need to start doing things like this (and more) to prepare for what's coming, as I said in my talk at Tunbridge Wells Climate and Nature Fair. Crucial work:
The Joint Intelligence Committee report describes ecological collapse as posing catastrophic & irreversible risks to the UK. I asked what steps the Ministry of Defence is taking to coordinate action across Govt. Parliament must be allowed to scrutinise these findings and the Govt response.

I agree with Caroline. What Greens should be doing is pressing Burnham on PR etc in return for a non-aggression pact in Makerfield.
I hope this isn’t true. There are times when it’s more important to put country before party. This is one of them. Burnham’s longstanding commitment to a fairer voting system could transform our democracy & counter dire threat of a Reform UK government theguardian.com/politics/202…

Well said. It is an attempt to distract from Israel's genocide but, as with Corbyn, it is also an attempt to undermine public support for a political party that is critical of Israel.
Exaggerated accusations of ‘anti-Semitism’ against the #Green Party are a deliberate attempt to distract from the terrible truth about what’s going on in the #MiddleEast. Watch my full #GBNews interview via the link👇 youtube.com/watch?v=-gX1FRey…

People are looking for a change in this election, but I know they want to vote for parties who will be focused on making a real difference locally. On 7th May, for change and for a strong track record of local action, Vote Green.

100 days since the Govt was forced to release its National Security Assessment which said that ecosystem collapse is a threat to national security. Parliament has still not been allowed to scrutinise its findings. We must have a Parliamentary debate.
The Govt's National Security Assessment is a stark warning, showing that global biodiversity loss & ecosystem collapse threaten the UK’s security & prosperity. I welcome the Leader of the House's commitment to make time available so we can debate this critical issue.
