Excited about all the flowers on this Tahoka daisy (๐๐ข๐ค๐ฉ๐ข๐ฆ๐ณ๐ข๐ฏ๐ต๐ฉ๐ฆ๐ณ๐ข ๐ต๐ข๐ฏ๐ข๐ค๐ฆ๐ต๐ช๐ง๐ฐ๐ญ๐ช๐ข). Perennials started this spring might not bloom this year. This annual is really showing off.

There are native iris, but this is not one of them. Dr. Gary Larson gave me this one when I moved to Brookings. Gary was on the search committee that hired me. He was a great friend, mentor, and role model. I will miss him. And now there is more pressure to not kill the iris.
