Twitter / @TwitterSupport is destroying startups with unwarranted account suspensions. They came for @tensor_hq, @drip_haus & now @SujikoProtocol, just before our mainnet launch! We have been waiting for 12 days to get our account unsuspended — to no avail. That's not all ⬇️ The lack of transparency with respect to Twitter's policies hampers businesses' ability to understand the reasons behind account suspensions and inhibits their chance to address any potential misunderstandings. While Twitter claims to enforce its policies to maintain a safe environment for users, there have been numerous instances where legitimate businesses have been unjustifiably targeted and suffered severe consequences. The impact of unwarranted account suspensions on businesses is significant. For many companies, Twitter serves as a vital communication and marketing channel. As such, sudden account suspensions have lasting negative effects on their revenue, reputation, and overall growth. It is crucial for Twitter to reevaluate its suspension policies and procedures to provide more clarity, consistency, and fairness. Implementing a more transparent process, offering clear explanations for suspensions, and establishing a fair appeals system would go a long way in mitigating the damaging effects on businesses. Additionally, providing businesses with the opportunity to rectify any alleged violations before resorting to suspensions would foster a more constructive environment for all parties involved. Businesses deserve a platform that values their contributions and supports their growth. Twitter should recognise the impact of unwarranted account suspensions on businesses and take proactive steps to address these issues.
