This event provided an opportunity for founders, manufacturers, suppliers, investors, and ecosystem partners to explore the innovation happening in the Greater Boston area and learn how #DassaultSystèmes supports startups through these two programs.

At 3DEXPERIENCE World 2026, Brian Vanasse stopped by the Moasure® booth to explore how motion-based measurement technology is being used to generate floor plans, site layouts, and topographical data. Tom Ingles, Moasure's Business Development Specialist, demonstrated how the device captures wall dimensions, angles, and elevation points by combining motion sensors with laser measurements. As measurements are collected, layouts are generated in real time through the mobile app. The captured data can be exported directly into DWG format. This workflow reduces the number of steps between field measurements and usable geometry, enabling teams to move quickly and accurately from site capture to design and documentation. The #SOLIDWORKS for Startups team recently joined Austin Link, Co-Founder of #StarfishSpace, in person at its Seattle headquarters. The team is developing autonomous spacecraft technology capable of rendezvous, docking, and extending the life of satellites already in orbit. Their innovative approach has the potential to reduce space debris, improve mission flexibility, and reshape how the industry thinks about satellite maintenance and orbital logistics.
